THREE WEEKS. THOUSANDS OF PHOTOS. WE DID IT! 🎉⚽📸
Now, I know I’m no
@danfalkdesigns , who managed to turn around an entire 500-player league in FOUR DAYS. Buuuuuut apparently I can’t afford his special brand of crack on my photography salary.
My own version of 80HD comes with a complimentary side of overthinking every background, every edit, every little detail, and convincing myself that everything needs to be *just right*. So instead of four days, you got three weeks.
The good news? We’re getting faster. And better. With the help of my fellow nerds (I mean, photography friends), we’re constantly upping our game. Picking apart what worked, what didn’t, and figuring out how to make the next picture day even better.
But here’s why we are still here and why we won’t stop......
I genuinely love doing this. And I love the people I get to do it with.
Thank you, MYSA, for welcoming us back for a THIRD year. You have no idea how much that means to us.
One of the unexpected gifts of doing youth sports photography is getting to watch your kids grow up. Some of these little faces I’ve photographed year after year, and suddenly they’re not so little anymore. As much as I wish time would slow the down, I don’t take for granted the privilege of getting to capture a tiny piece of their childhood along the way.
I hope you know these aren’t just pictures to us.
We’re parents, too. We know how quickly the seasons change, how fast the uniforms get too small, and how one day you’ll look back at a picture of your kid with their goofy little smile and wonder where the time went.
Special thank you to Uncle Duane and the fine folks at the Dorrance Twp Vol Fire Dept for helping us out of a jam at the last minute. You would still be waiting for your pictures if it wasn’t for them.
And the lovely Bethany, Mac, Izzy, Caitlin, and Mike for stepping up last minute to lend a hand.
**NOW GO CHECK YOUR EMAILS. YOUR GALLERIES ARE READY!** ⚽📸
