Allah (SWT) says "do not be sad" 9 times in the Qur'an. Look at who He said it to. A mother placing her newborn in a river. (28:7) Maryam, alone in labour beneath a palm tree. (19:24) The Prophet (PBUH) in the cave with Abu Bakr, enemies standing at the entrance. (9:40) The Prophet (PBUH) again, grieving over the people who turned away from him. (16:127) The believers after Uhud, wounded and mourning. (3:139) These are the strongest people in our history, and every one of them felt sad. Not once does the Qur'an blame them for it. Every time, the words come with something from Him. The mother is promised her son back. Water runs at Maryam's feet. Sakinah descends in the cave. Your sadness is not proof that your iman is failing. In the Qur'an, it is the very moment Allah chose to speak. “Mental Health in Islam: Anxiety, Burnout & Emotional Exhaustion.” 📅 Started 22 October 2026 🗓️ Every Thursday & Sunday | 3:00 PM UTC/GMT ⏱️ 10 sessions | 10 hours total 🎥 Live online | All sessions recorded 🎓 CPD Accredited | Certificate of Completion Save this for the day you need it. JUST IN: Democrat Kathy Hochul has been reelected as governor of New York. Congratulations, Governor Hochul!
After reading the box it made so much sense 💀😅🤣
For nearly 2 years, the Trump administration and Russ Vought have relied on propaganda like this to enable an unprecedented destruction of scientific research. Thousands of federally funded research grants have been terminated or frozen, tens of thousands of scientists and research personnel have left federal agencies, billions of dollars in cuts to research agencies have been proposed, and efforts have been made to give political appointees final authority over federal research funding. But tomorrow’s election could change this trajectory. A shift in the congressional majority could give Congress the power to protect science agencies and research funding, permanently block the OMB proposal that would give political appointees oversight over federal funding, ensure allocated funds are spent, and hold the administration accountable for its attacks on scientific research. I’m often asked what we can do to fight back against these attacks on science. Tomorrow, we have an opportunity to do exactly that. Vote. Vote. Vote
