I am a trained batik artist with over 40 years experience creating traditional batik using the Tjanting Tulis method of wax drawing and writing.
During the eighties and nineties, I sold my batiks on tour with the Grateful Dead and the New Orleans Radiators.
I have been a featured artist for Dharma Trading Company since the nineties, I use Dharma Procion Dye and their Preferred for Dying T-Shirts.
My wife Michele and I now live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, where I am still melting after all these years.
