One thing visitors often comment on when touring Cornwall with us is just how many four-legged friends they encounter along the way.

And why not? With miles of coastal paths, glorious beaches, ancient landscapes and welcoming pubs, Cornwall is pretty much doggy heaven.

Last week, we were delighted to have a boatman carry us and our guests over to St.Michaels Mount @stmichaelsmount with a handsome beast sitting proudly at the front and centre as though he owned the place!

(Frankly, he looked more than ready to take charge of the island.)
