Easy, nourishing meals for pregnancy (no fancy cooking skills needed 😉)

When building meals around pregnancy, focus on:
✅ A protein anchor
✅ Healthy fats
✅ Carbs and fibre (colour for all those beautiful polyphenols)

When growing a baby, it’s worth being intentional about what you’re craving and what your body actually needs to meet the demands of pregnancy, nutrient wise.

Cravings are a lovely part of pregnancy, but it can be easy to fall into only the ones that don’t quite meet those demands, so a little intention goes a long way.

When your meals are built this way, they’re sustaining the life you’re growing and also supporting you beyond pregnancy, into recovery and every stage of motherhood after 🌿

Save this for the next time you’re staring into the fridge wondering what to make 👀

Beef & liver mince burgers with bone broth mayo and sweet potato chips 🍔

Coconut chicken curry 🍛 one of the most beloved Maia recipes

Taco mince loaded sweet potato 🍠

Rosemary lamb shanks & ghee congee 🍖 beautiful with some greens in the side

A great “throw it together” lunch option 🐟 incorporating fish 2-3 times per week + supplementing with cod liver oil or fish oil on the other days will help meet your DHA demands 🧠
