8 days agoThose who say the works printed with this printing technique has “no soul” have a clear bias and are not seeing the work. They are prints, using a novel process. The artistic integrity is intact and imbued into the original design and the layering process. The machine executes the artist’s vision. This was the same criticism of the first Giclées printed on the dye-based Iris printer. The same was said of the first pigment-based Epsons. It was even said about photography. Art has always been married to technology, back to the first paint brush. It’s not AI. It’s human made.
