Libraries Without Walls

We believe art and literacy belong together. Literacy teaches a child to read words, but art teaches her to read the world, to feel it, question it, and reimagine it. When a child picks up a book in one hand and a paintbrush in the other, she is learning to think and to create at the same time. Art makes literacy joyful, and literacy makes art meaningful. Together, they give children not just the ability to read stories, but the courage to tell their own.
