Finally had the time to settle down and process what happened weeks ago in Berlin. So here’s my day one or one day compo🥹🇩🇪
Honestly, it is the best run I’ve ever been part of. Wouldn’t even call it a race. For the first time, I truly understood the hype. No pressure, no time to chase, just running and soaking it all in. And somehow, came away with a Berlin PB.
After months of injuries and setbacks, I wasn’t fully back, but I was there, and that alone meant a lot. Till the start point, I didn’t have a target in mind, just wanted to enjoy the route and the whole experience. Thank you, legs. It wasn’t easy.
I remembered at the starting line with
@amysaito “eh start my watch now is it now ah now?” And she went “42 ah 42 not 41k okay!! YEA YEA NOW NOW THE LINE” hahahahaha. No pressure, no unnecessary voices. Purely you, yourself and yourself hahahaha.
Bloody hell, it took me 1.5 years to get to where I am now and please, I hated running. Never in a million years did I think I’d be signing up for runs. Disgusting shyt 😂 Had to start because of that silly hyrox, otherwise I wouldn’t even be here. So if you think running is for older folks, I think so too. Mid life crisis HAHAHAHA. Everyone has their own battles. At the end of the day, it’s still you vs. you. Appreciate the love I’ve received. Thank you all💓
To end off,
1. Were my eyes watery at the finishing line?
2. Vest or No vest ✌🏻🥳
