You’re often the person reminding everyone else to be kind to themselves. 💚 But are you giving yourself that same kindness?

When someone you care about makes a mistake, you probably try to understand what happened. You offer patience, reassurance, and room to grow.

But when you make a mistake, do you offer yourself the same grace? Or do you become your own harshest critic?

Self-compassion isn’t making excuses for yourself. It’s recognising that you can learn, grow, and take responsibility without tearing yourself down in the process.

The next time you’re struggling, pause and ask yourself:

“If someone I loved were going through this, how would I speak to them?”

Then try offering yourself those same words.
Your personal growth matters, too. You deserve empathy just as much as the people you give it to.
💭 Have you been showing yourself the same compassion you show others?

Save this as a reminder to be a little gentler with yourself. 💚

The voice you use after a setback can either help you recover or make the setback heavier than it needs to be.
