She came into my life at a time when I was being extra careful about who I let in. I had built walls around myself, trying to protect my heart from being hurt or deceived. I wasn’t ready to trust anyone easily, and perhaps, in the beginning, she wasn’t ready either.

But somewhere along the way, she managed to break through those walls, slowly and naturally, and make a place for herself in my world. A place I hadn’t planned for anyone, but one that now feels so special.
