Adam G. Sevani is an American actor and dancer, best known for playing Robert “Moose” Alexander III in the Step Up movie series. His real name is Adam Manucharian, and he was born June 29, 1992, in Los Angeles. He started dancing when he was very young.

🕺 His role as Moose

Moose is basically one of the most recognizable characters in the Step Up franchise.

Step Up 2: The Streets (2008) — Adam's first appearance as Moose. Moose is a talented but somewhat awkward/shy dancer and becomes friends with Andie.

Step Up 3D (2010) — Moose becomes much more important. He moves to New York and studies electrical engineering at NYU, while getting deeply involved in the underground dance scene. His best friend is Camille, played by Alyson Stoner.

Step Up Revolution (2012) — Moose makes a smaller appearance and helps the new generation of dancers.

Step Up: All In (2014) — Moose returns as part of Sean's new crew and competes in the Las Vegas dance competition.

What's interesting is that Moose isn't just a fictional character who happens to dance—Adam himself is a professional dancer, so many of Moose's dance abilities come from Adam's real-life talent.

And honestly, Step Up 3D is probably the movie where Moose really becomes THE MOOSE 😭🕺 His personality, dancing, humor and the whole NYU/underground-dance storyline make him much more central than in Step Up 2.
