Frankie and Nicole celebrated their wedding in Portugal, but we wanted to share that joy here at home, too. Their New Jersey celebration gave family and friends who couldn’t travel to Portugal a chance to be a part of it, especially the grandparents who were unable to travel overseas. The nuptial blessing made the day even more meaningful bringing everyone together to celebrate their love ❤️ 📸 Photography: @chrisjevansphoto 💐 Florals: @premiereventsbyreema 👩🏼 Wedding Planner: @joanngregoli ⛪️ Church: @mostblessedsacramentchurch 🎉 Venue: @indiantrailclub 🎶 Music & Band: @jordankahnorchestra 📝 Custom Signage: @carolinejamesny 🎂 Cake: @vincenzo_salvatore_cakes 👰🏻‍♀️ Wedding Dress: @white_house_bride 👗 Dress: @rachelgilbertau 🍾 Flair Bartenders: @the_cup_bearer 🤳 Photobooth: @snappedsociety Stay tuned for more details on what made this day absolutely amazing! #fallwedding #sonwedding #familywedding #peoplemagazine
🌻 SMALL TOWN GIRL. BIG CITY DREAMS! ❤️ Born with small-town roots in Kansas, but BIG dreams that were never going to fit inside those small-town limits! 💃🏼✨ I’ve always had a little wanderlust, a whole lot of ambition, and a heart that wanted to FLY! 🦋 I love living BIG, dreaming BIGGER, and chasing everything this beautiful life has to offer! But here’s one thing that will NEVER change… no matter how far I fly or how high I soar, I’ll always be that small-town Kansas girl at heart! ❤️ Big dreams. Humble roots. A whole lot of SMILES! 😁 Are you a small-town soul or a big-city dreamer? Or maybe a little of BOTH, like me? 💋 #SmallTownGirl #BigCityDreams #KansasGirl #NeverForgetYourRoots
ask most people where techno comes from and they’ll tell you berlin. techno is called techno because of juan atkins. a black man from michigan who put out a record called “techno music” in 1988. who took a phrase out of a 1980 book about what happens to a society after industry, and named a whole genre with it. who started his own label in 1985 so he owned his own masters, at a time when almost nobody who looked like him did. he died on friday. he was 64 years old. rest in peace to a legend. you have heard his work even if you have never heard his name. so these are his flowers. rest in peace juan atkins. the genre has your name on it, forever and always. #juanatkins #techno #detroittechno #hiddenhistory #blackmusichistory
