This is not a post about whether ice baths are good or not
It’s a post about the power of experience.
I’ve seen a trend since more of the industry moved online
More and more people living and dieting behind research papers
Yes we should stay up to date on research trends so we can give our clients the best possible guidance
But there are tons of results in my career where I have done things because of anecdotal experience, feel, past client success that maybe isn’t yet shown to “evidence based”
Many of the strength coaches who were the most successful in history were ahead of the data
For a hypothesis to gather enough data to be general consensus it takes years
How far behind how many more people could you help if you also got stuck in and hands on with client.
This is where I feel SMU stands out compared to many education courses out there
Yes we keep on top of the data but we bring it right back to your clients
What 16 years of experience has taught us
What can you do tomorrow with your clients
Our goal is to improve your results tomorrow not just make you smarter.
