This was one of my favorite dances from my strictly with David at JLDF. 🤍

Even after a year of growing in our own directions we still got it. :)
This was honestly probably some of our best dancing together. Thank you for asking me to do this strictly my friend. This one’s going in the album. 📖

Come and meet my mom! She always shows up in a lot of different ways. And I’m sure nobody sees her in the same ways that I see her. It took some time before I was able to see her in her many forms. After my mom died, I wasn’t ready to look for her. I wasn’t ready to say hi in a new way. I just wasn’t ready for a lot of things. And if it doesn’t feel like you’ve seen signs from your dead people, you’re not alone. Not everyone does! Also I’m a big believer that they all decide when the time is right to come back and say hi. All we can do is keep saying hi to them and keep looking for them. Everywhere. All the time. However feels right to you. They are out there. Somewhere. And you get to grieve them however you want to, even if that means talking to plants and animals and doing things society calls “weird.” That’s grief for you. And it can be a beautiful thing.
