Story time: Tommy makes new friends part 1 🌸

Ken had been invited to a birthday party with his younger brother Tommy. The party was already in full swing. There were delicious cakes on the tables everywhere, and cheerful music was playing in the background. But Tommy was incredibly disappointed, because he’d been so looking forward to playing with the other children. Unfortunately, apart from him, there wasn’t a single other child there.

“Come on, Tommy,” said Ken encouragingly, placing a hand on his little brother’s shoulder. “Why don’t you have a look at the presents first? Maybe you’ll find something interesting!” Tommy glanced briefly at the colourfully wrapped parcels, but his mood hardly improved.

When Ken told his friends about how bored Tommy was, one of them had an idea. “Why don’t you take Tommy to the playground round the corner? Maybe you’ll meet a few children there.” Ken thought it was a good suggestion. He said goodbye to his friends, took Tommy by the hand and set off with him.
