A little invitation to step inside my studio this weekend…
I'm really looking forward to opening my studio as part of Dunbar Art Route this weekend, 16–18 October.
My practice is rooted in the landscape around Dunbar, particularly John Muir Country Park, where layers of silt, shifting tides, trees and changing light continue to inspire my work.
In the studio, these observations become layers of translucent paper, ink, natural pigments and marks that explore landscape, memory and our connection to place.
It's always such a pleasure to welcome people into the space where these ideas develop, share the stories behind the paintings and have conversations about art and the landscape.

One of my most favourite walks too! What an extraordinary human being John Muir was, we owe him a great deal one of the very first environmentalists. Love your paintings !
