10th Oct. Rocky unleashed and began his heavenly abode. A journey of 14 years came to an end.
He walked into my life when I was just 11, a 2 month old puppy who slept under the bed and got into my blanket whenever he got scared. Somewhere along the way, he became a brother, a friend, someone I could talk to about literally anything. He was always there to listen.
From child to teenager to adult, he saw the most beautiful and important phases of my life. Through every good day and bad one, Rocky was the constant who would simply sit beside me, and we would enjoy each other’s company and not care about the world. Most days, we didn’t need to do anything at all, but just sitting beside each other, me rubbing his belly, him kissing me all over my face, and just chaos all around the house.
He tore apart everything in sight just to play: papers, documents, clothes, shoes, stuffed toys, you name it, he's shredded it. And those random rides around the city, for reasons only God knows, we'd just wander around for hours, and the rick or cab driver would get iritated and come at a point and ask me, sir where exactly do you want to go. I’d give anything for one more of them.
14 years ago, I found a paw.But today, I lost a son, a friend, a brother, and an unpaid therapist.
A place in my heart that no one could ever take or fill.
