To. My beloved fans ♡

Hello! Hi everyone! It’s Hangyeom! I’m finally discharged! ♡

I’ve been thinking about how to greet you all, and decided to write this handwritten letter!

First of all, thanks to everyone who waited for me for two years, I was able to finish my service safely and well.

I’ve been doing well, reading all the letters and messages you’ve sent me.

Have you all been doing well, too? Did you happen to meet someone else while I was away? Haha! ♡ I wonder if you’re still waiting for me like before.

Even though we’ve kept in touch from time to time, just thinking about meeting you all again makes me nervous already!

I’ve missed being on stage so much… I hope the day I can greet you from the stage comes soon! I can’t wait!

Even though two seasons have passed, I’ve truly MISSED YOU. Felt you. Loved you. Hahaha.

I’ve been reminiscing about the old days, listening to our old fan chants and remembering how you cheered for us. It made me realize just how long you’ve been waiting for me…

Now that today is finally here, it still doesn’t quite feel real. I think it’ll finally hit me when I see you all in person.

During this time, I’ve enjoyed lots of delicious food, worked hard on music and practice, traveled, and experienced so many different emotions.

Oh, and speaking of names… My stage name used to be A-DAY, right? I’ve added one more AKA!

My new name is WAVVY (웨이비)!

It’s a little complicated to explain, haha. But simply put, it’s about riding the waves that come your way and finding your own way through them!

Let’s ride the waves and find our way to Hangyeom Island! Haha!

My official stage name is still Hangyeom, so don’t get confused! I’ve just added another AKA. I’m being so thoughtful, aren’t I? Haha.

I’ll come back with an even better version of myself. See you very soon!! I love you!

Lastly, thank you once again to everyone who waited for me throughout these 1 year and 9 months, supported me, cheered me on, and continued to love me and the OMEGA X members. ♡

I woke up multiple times last night . This morning was heavy on my heart as I miss you not only today but every day . I wish I could hug you one last time … wish we could talk one last time …wish we could play backgammon one last time. I know you are with me no matter what . Thank you for being the best Daddy ever ! ❌⭕️🙏🏽🕊️ THIS PHOTO makes me smile as it’s the night I remember we saw each other after the Oscars in ‘96 … you had been busy so we connected after the show . You were talking to Take 6 and looked over at me and said “Oh my! I almost asked you for your number” 🤣🤣🤣
