21 days agoGirl, I had mine 60 days ago. You have so much more time living as your authentic self—but I will say be at peace. it’s amazing, and just tell yourself the truth, which is it’s going to be okay, amazing and any discomfort from the surgery is so overwhelmed how good it feels. I will say the bandages for the first week can be tough especially during the last two days. Ask about some anxiety meds like Klonopin for those couple days (make sure not mix with opioids without chatting with your doc). You’re going to do amazing!!!!
21 days agoHad mine last year December 22nd last year right before Christmas. Full FFS, literally 11 procedures, took all day. Make sure you have a caretaker and stay on top of your meds. If you don’t think you need pain meds, still take them and you’ll be good. Get yourself a wedge pillow and aquaphor. If your pain tolerance is pretty good you should be fine. Healing takes forever. My lower face didn’t start to take shape until June/July of this year and I’m still considered to be in the healing window. Good luck!
22 days agoI am so excited for you! FFS was really hard for me both physically and mentally. I have zero regrets.
