Dragons & Drizzle Cakes by L.L. Gray.

blurb.
A retired dragon wanted tea and cake. Everhollow delivered a murder.
After two thousand years of adventure, Ash Firescale wants nothing more than peace, pastries, and a towering pile of books. But when a murder rocks the magical mountain town of Everhollow, the Dragon Council drags her out of retirement to investigate. Officially, she's there to catch the killer. Unofficially, she's searching for a missing guardian dragon whose disappearance threatens to unravel the town's magic.

Unfortunately, retirement hasn't prepared Ash for Everhollow's particular brand of chaos. Between suspicious townsfolk, dangerous magical secrets, and an overly enthusiastic, cake-obsessed hedgehog determined to become her sidekick, keeping a low profile is proving nearly impossible. As Ash digs deeper, Everhollow's cozy charm begins to crack. Secrets are stacked thicker than buttercream, the magic is growing dangerously unstable, and someone is determined to keep the truth buried.

Can one grumpy, tea-fueled dragon solve a murder, find the missing guardian, and save Everhollow before its magic falls apart?
