Miss Rodeo Mississippi

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s my honor to introduce to you your 2027 Miss Rodeo Mississippi!

Hello everyone! My name is Lila Murphy, and I am beyond honored to serve as your Miss Rodeo Mississippi 2027! To say this is a dream come true would be an understatement, and I am so excited for the year ahead!

I hail from Jackson, Mississippi, with deep roots in the Mississippi Delta and a lifelong love for agriculture, horses, and the sport of rodeo. I recently graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and now work as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse at UMMC. It is such a privilege to care for Mississippi’s tiniest patients—and future rodeo fans!

I am so excited to represent my home state, the sport of professional rodeo, agriculture, and the western way of life throughout 2027. I cannot wait for all that this year has in store, and I am so grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way. Let’s rodeo, Mississippi!
