According to the Wall Street Journal, Iranian officials have privately warned regional governments and intermediaries that if the United States resumes strikes, Iran will launch ground incursions into neighboring countries. They have threatened attacks on American military assets and critical infrastructure across the Middle East, strikes on Saudi oil installations and other Gulf infrastructure, and intensified attacks on American military personnel, including attempts to sink United States warships and kill their crews.
