Losing hurts for a day, but knowing you held back haunts you for years. 💯🔥 Some days you’ll give everything you have and still fall short. You’ll study and still miss the grade. Train and still lose. Work late and still not get the result you wanted. That’s life. Results depend on timing, luck and a hundred things outside your control. Effort is the one thing that’s always yours. The real failure isn’t falling short. It’s knowing you held back. Regret doesn’t come from losing after giving your best. It comes from wondering what would’ve happened if you had. And effort is never wasted. Every time you give everything, you get stronger, sharper and closer, even when the scoreboard doesn’t show it yet. Every loss you give everything to is a down payment on the win that’s coming. “At the end of the day, I actually don’t think about Haley Stevens,” Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed said Sunday when asked whether the congresswoman had betrayed her party by endorsing Republican Mike Rogers. El-Sayed pushed back on questions about the political rift, asking reporters to concentrate on the challenges facing Michigan residents. “I’m not in the business of driving clicks for you. I’m in the business of trying to solve problems for the people in my state,” he said. He outlined priorities including affordable health care, stronger schools and relief from high household costs, while reaffirming his support for Medicare for All. “I want to get money out of politics. I want to put money back in pockets,” he said. Turning to foreign policy, El-Sayed took aim at “the Trump administration that has taken us to this war in Iran.” He argued that the conflict was increasing gas and grocery costs while drawing tax dollars away from communities at home. “We don’t want to watch our tax dollars get spent somewhere else on a war we shouldn’t be fighting. We want our tax dollars spent here on schools here,” he said.
