October is National Safe Work Month, and at FTMA Australia we're taking a moment to reflect on what we're doing to help keep everyone in frame and truss manufacturing safe at work. 🦺

Safety isn't a box to tick once a year. It's a culture we build together, every day, on every shift. Here's how we're supporting that across the sector:

🔹 Frame and Truss National Safety Council established to drive consistent, across-the-board safety standards for our industry

🔹 Engaged Simon Williamson, an experienced frame and truss safety professional, to support our members and chair the Safety Council – Simon’s been visiting members out on site to talk through all their safety procedures and is available to members for any questions

🔹 Simon is developing practical, industry-specific safety resources for a new portal we're building, with a launch planned for early next year

🔹 Simon hosts regular sessions with specialists and governing bodies to build education, awareness and a strong safety culture across the sector

🔹 Work with governing bodies on legislation that could affect frame and truss manufacturers, so we can help set the standard for our industry

Now we'd love to hear from you. What is your team doing for National Safe Work Month? Share your initiatives, ideas or wins in the comments below. 👇
