When asked whether Democrats in Michigan are too divided for Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed to be able to win, as his former primary opponent Haley Stevens has made public her misgivings about backing him, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) says, “No.” “Haley Stevens lost a very, very close primary. I can understand being upset about that. The world produces around 150 million tonnes of rice husk each year. A pioneering solution kills two birds with one stone – repurposing this agricultural waste as a durable and sustainable building material of the future. Alongside materials made from rice husks like panelling, research suggests rice husk ash could provide an alternative to cement - which is responsible for 8% of global carbon emissions.
