it's really sad when the closest people to you turns into someone else unintentionally, and the memories you thought you had together are gone, but also when we talk about our moms we only know them as our moms we never actually tried to get to know them as a person without the roles life gave them, maybe the writer is trying to figure out who is her mom after she has no memory left of being a mom.

Tough day at the groomers as SHIH FU enters the 36 Grooming Chambers of the Fluffy Temple. 🐉🐾

Shih Fu went undercover again, this time at Fluffy Temple Dog and Cat Grooming, posing as an ordinary Shih Tzu for a wash and trim. He let them bathe him. He let them blow-dry him. He even let them put a bow in his hair.

Then they brought out the clippers.

What happened next was not on the menu.

After years of extremely questionable research, Professor Rita has finally discovered the scientific explanation for trick-or-treating!

According to Sock Monkey Science, Halloween is the only night of the year when humans willingly give away perfectly good candy to strangers wearing suspicious outfits. 🤔

Rita has identified three important scientific principles:

🎃The Law of Candy Attraction: Candy is naturally attracted to cute costumes. Rita believes her button eyes generate an unusually powerful candy field.

🎃The Costume Transformation Theory: Rita can visit a house dressed as a witch, return as a pumpkin, and come back as a vampire. Scientifically, that's THREE different monkeys. THREE candy collections. PERFECTLY LEGAL! 👀

🎃The Law of Candy Conservation: Candy can neither be created nor destroyed. It can only be transferred from someone else's bowl into Rita's tummy.

RITA'S SCIENTIFIC CONCLUSION:

Halloween is basically a door-to-door candy distribution system operated by people who have completely lost control of their front porches.

Her only remaining scientific question:

If she rings the same doorbell 12 times wearing 12 different costumes, at what point does it become a police matter?
