14 months postpartum and one exercise I STILL swear by!😤

Stomach vacuums have been part of my core routine for over 10 years, and they were one of the exercises I incorporated into my postpartum recovery. They target your transverse abdominis (TVA), the deepest layer of your abdominal muscles, which acts like your body’s natural corset.

Now, let’s be clear! Stomach vacuums alone didn’t get my stomach looking like this. Nutrition, consistent strength training, time, and recovery all played a role. They all work hand in hand.

But when it comes to reconnecting with my deep core after having a baby? They’ve been a staple!🙌🏾🔥

Give it a try!💪🏾

Actor Macaulay Culkin, best known for his role in Home Alone, recreated the famous Thousand Yard Stare meme for Halloween, dressing as a traumatised soldier with a military helmet, camouflage face paint and an exhausted expression. His costume closely resembles the haunting artwork inspired by a photograph of a US Marine during the Battle of Eniwetok in 1944.

The original image became an enduring symbol of the psychological toll of warfare, capturing the vacant expression often associated with extreme combat stress. Culkin’s recreation brought the historic image into modern pop culture, highlighting just how recognisable the famous stare has become. 🎃🪖
