On a journey to re-find my spark.

This is not necessarily goodbye, but Pupworldwear as you know it, as my entire life, is coming to an end. I feel incredibly lucky to have built a community that feels like family, and I have endless respect for the businesses I have met along the way. Because of you, I kept going for a long time. And I think, it is a beautiful thing, and it can be enough.

But I want more. And somewhere along the way, I let myself forget that.

My career background is so unrelated to the pet world. Truth is, I miss being surrounded by sharp minds, working on million dollar deals, and now I find myself spending an absurd amount of time arguing over a few dollars and gift bags. Not because these things don’t matter, but because I never imagined my ambitions being reduced to… that.

The toll has been undeniable. The frequent crash outs, weight gain, drained savings, and time lost with loved ones. And there’s Tom, the “free labor” who supported our dream from the beginning, building Pupworld hikes through HARD work, only for so much of what he has earned to go straight back into keeping my vision alive.

But what scares me most isn’t failure. It’s choosing the easy option.

I could keep going, but I crave challenges, novelty, being surrounded by people who push me to think bigger, in environments that open doors and broaden my horizons.

So where does that leave PWW? Honestly, I don’t know. We have things planned for the holidays, but everything else will slow down.

Success looks different for everyone, and there is nothing wrong with doing what makes you happy.

But there is also nothing wrong with admitting that the life I worked so hard to build is no longer the life I want.

I have spent years fighting to keep a dream alive. I think it is finally time I started fighting for myself again.
