Last night was fun. 😉

Sis gols i unes fotos de luxe.
Las mejores fotos de una gran noche.

When Gail’s opened a store in Brixton, an always-lively part of London, this month, it did not receive a warm welcome.

Posters appeared of a sourdough loaf altered to look like a bomb. A petition against the chain of artisan bakeries attracted 1,326 signatures. Naturally, once opened it was rammed with folk buying ham-and-cheese croissants for £5.40 ($7.20).

To gauge the state of the British state, ignore the budget and scoot down to Brixton. Gentrification ripped through the area. Now it is, again, a picture of something rotten.

What happens when a place degenerates and gentrifies all at once? Tap the link in our bio to find out.
