A História de Rocker Rocket, Jennifer Doll e os Midnight Echoes.
Prévia
By: Diego Gael

1987

Yesterday Bobs and I had an appointment to meet my ‘grail’ We all have personal feelings on the term grail means. For me a grail is a watch I wish to own as I know that it’s the watch for me and one that I will want to wear for a long time. I’ve quietly spent the past year trying to choose a watch for my forthcoming 50th birthday. I set a budget and then set out on what initially proves to be quite a difficult task. However once I factored in things that are important to me, then it became somewhat easier. A few of the contenders: Tudor Submariner 79090: kindly lent to me by Ryan. A truly nice watch that looks and wears great on me. Neo vintage but with some design elements akin to a Rolex Submariner 1680. Get the pitchforks ready (I couldn’t choose one as I wanted a Rolex to celebrate with) I know I know 🙈 Roast me in the comments. Rolex submainer 5513: the watch I grew up seeing, both on Roger Moore’s wrist and on the back of National Geographic magazine. Domed plexi, two lines of text, creamy markers and faded bezels. What a watch! However no matter how much I like them I don’t feel they’re robust enough for my daily wear. Maybe for my 60th when I’ve slowed a little. 5 digit Rolex Submariner: this was a real possibility and although I initially wanted a 14060m 4 liner, I then found charm in the 16610 with the cyclops, but the fire didn’t burn. Rolex Datejust: I’ve had a serious crush on the silver dial 126234 with fluted bezel and jubilee for 5 years. What a watch! Well I thought I would revisit the reference and yesterday I tried on the same configuration but with the green ombré dial. Incredible, but too damn shiny sadly. One to admire on others. So on the watch in the photos. It’s well known my love for the Oyster Perpetual. I have one with the candy pink dial and after more than a year of ownership it brings a joy that no other watch has. Nice wrist presence, perfect proportions and simplicity done right. Throw in a beige dial and it’s just perfect. 12 weeks in of a 6-12 month wait. SureI want the call now, but we had a great visit. Check Bobs out ❤️ . . . . . . . #oysterperpetual #dachshund #rolexwatch
Today was the slowest marathon I’ve ever run & it’s the one I’m most proud of. I’ve never wanted to quit a race more. My legs were done at mile 14, I *tried* to quit at mile 19 but I’m not sure how to? I walked into a medical tent & they just gave me a Tylenol & Vaseline on a stick, so I kept going. Then I got a text (2nd slide) from my 9 year old (via my wife) and I decided I was going to finish even if I had to walk the rest of the way. The video in slide 3 is me telling him at mile 22 he’s the reason I’m still running. Somehow I was able to get running again & finished with a smile on my face. I am so grateful for my family. I am so grateful for New York City and I am so grateful for everyone who took a moment out of their day to cheer me on. Apologies if I miss anyone here! Had a ball last night celebrating 40 years of Rap-A-Lot Records! 💯🔥 @jprincerespect dropped some real knowledge about how this independent music game got started right here in Houston. As somebody running an independent label myself, I can definitely appreciate the blueprint he laid down. 40 years later and the legacy still speaks for itself. Salute to J. Prince and the whole Rap-A-Lot family! H-Town history! 🤘🏾💯 #Viral #explore
"She would be happy to go back if it meant she got to kill me." Jewish activist Lizzy Benichou recounts an alleged death threat from a student at the University of Michigan after a confrontation that left her knocked to the ground. Benichou claims the student made the chilling statement while being placed into a police car, referring to a previous stay in a mental institution. | @foxandfriends Download the Fox News app or go to Foxnews.com for more.
