Bye bye October šŸŽƒ Not bad..
I mean, as far as weekends goā€¦ ā¤ļø Making the best of the two-hour queue for the red carpet. Oh, the silly things we do for vanity... ā€œSpeechlessā€. ā€œScott, hold the statue closer to your face!ā€ ā€œScott, kiss the Emmy, itā€™ll make a great cover photo!ā€ ā€œScott, look a little less like you just had a heart attack!ā€ ā€œScott, stop rocking on the floor in the fetal position!ā€ ā€œUmā€¦ can someone please get this man a drink?ā€ My emotional support human. ā¤ļø Her dress had pockets, guys. POCKETS! Starting to sink inā€¦ On the shoulders of giants. You might be able to see these from some of the other photos, but this yearā€™s award show came with a brand new experience for me: the privilege of wearing pieces from @charlielapsonā€™s absolutely stunning jewelry collection. I donā€™t know what Elle and I did to deserve Mr. Lapsonā€™s remarkable generosity, but I have never felt that cool in my life. Elle was radiant in his white gold and diamonds, whereas the black rings and leather bracelets Charlie chose for me struck such a satisfying balance between elegance and subtlety. I donā€™t wear ā€œbling,ā€ but I tell ya, maybe I should rethink that. THANK YOU, Mr. Lapson! And to top it all off, sushi dinner and dessert, courtesy of my very own leading man, @thomasjankas. Iā€™m a lucky, lucky boy. Now I sleep for about 8 months. I love and appreciate every one of you. Thank you for gifting me these memories. ā€”SC
Some betrayals don't happen in a single moment. They happen slowly, through the little things you never thought you'd have to question. The late replies, the changed behaviour, the distant conversations, and the feeling that something isn't right, even when they keep telling you everything is fine. šŸ’” And the worst part? You don't want to believe it. You keep looking for reasons to trust them. You convince yourself that maybe they're just going through something. You ignore the signs because the thought of losing them hurts more than the truth. But deep down, you already know. You knew when their eyes stopped meeting yours. You knew when their words no longer matched their actions. You knew when loving them started feeling like begging for the bare minimum. And still, you stayed. You stayed because you remembered the person they used to be. You stayed because of the promises, the late-night conversations, the little moments, and all those beautiful memories you thought meant something. You weren't asking for perfection. You weren't asking them to never make mistakes. You were just asking them not to destroy something you were genuinely trying to protect. When they finally admitted what happened, perhaps you weren't even surprised. You were just heartbroken that the person you trusted enough to never hurt you became the very person you needed healing from. And even then, you wanted to talk. You wanted answers. You wanted to understand why your love wasn't enough for them to be honest. But sometimes, no explanation can undo what someone has done. The hardest goodbye isn't always the one where you stop loving someone. Sometimes, it's the one where you still love them, still miss them, still wish things could have been different, but finally understand that staying would mean hurting yourself over and over again. So you leave. Not because you never cared. Not because the memories meant nothing. Not because moving on is easy. You leave because you finally realise that your heart deserves the same loyalty it keeps giving to others. #Heartbreak #RelationshipTruth #Loyalty #SelfRespect #EmotionalHealing
