on 13 october, i underwent my third surgery for endometriosis. i have extensive stage 4 endometriosis, severe adenomyosis and PMOS💛

my last surgery was in 2023, when i was 20. within 8 months, the pain and irregular bleeding returned. i was told i was “too young” for my endometriosis to have grown back so quickly. but scans proved otherwise.

i spent the next year and a half trying pelvic physiotherapy, dietary changes and holistic approaches. some helped, until they didn’t.

by november 2025, i was bleeding uncontrollably again for months, passing huge clots and bleeding through sanitary products and clothes. it went on for months on end without stopping. the pain is so severe i had to stop exercising, struggled to work, and sometimes needed my parents to help me walk, get me to bed and use the bathroom.

a scan revealed my left ovary was stuck to my abdominal wall. i was riddled with it again on my bowel, rectum, pouch of douglas, uterus, pelvis, bladder, ovaries, abdominal wall and so on.

this third surgery included pelvic botox for my hypertonic pelvic floor, cutting away all the endo and an investigation of my bowel. i’m still waiting for the full results.

my condition is NOT just painful periods. for me, it’s chronic pain that spreads throughout my whole body, relentless bleeding, bowel and bladder problems, chronic fatigue, bloating, weight gain and more. it affects far more than the reproductive system, and it doesn’t follow a monthly schedule.

surgery can help, but it isn’t a cure. even now, i know it may not resolve my pain, bleeding or other symptoms.

what hurts almost as much is how easily women’s pain is dismissed. age shouldn’t determine whether we’re believed. different endo stages, symptoms and coexisting conditions deserve individualised care, not a one-size-fits-all answer.

so many women suffer in silence. i’m sharing this for anyone living with the pain, bleeding, exhaustion and invisible battles that people don’t see.

i’m not ashamed. i’m an endo warrior, my body is fighting a battle most people can’t see, with NO CURE. if this helps one woman feel seen, heard or believed, it’s worth sharing. you are not alone. 🎗️💛
