AN EMERGING CHAMPION | JAE’OYN WILLIAMS
“I’ve been through a lot of adversity…so instead I always gotta prove myself right instead of trying to prove everybody else wrong.”
Jae’Oyn changed how I thought about Emerging Champions. I had spent years trying to define the project through the athletes I covered. Jae made me understand what it means to trust yourself when anomalous.
This chapter is about Jae, but it also helped me understand what I want Emerging Champions to stand for.
An Emerging Champion, in the One Year Edition of Emerging Champions.
