Mine forventninger var høje til denne, og mens jeg er godt underholdt hele vejen igennem så faldt den noget ved afslutningen.

Bogen har det hele, godt plottwist, højt spændingsniveau ect. Slutningen føles bare ikke rigtig.
Karaktererne, dem er der mange af, virker flade og måske også lidt klichéagtige og alligevel er der meget der bare er rigtigt med denne.

ANATOMY OF AN ALIBI, er kunsten at slippe fra et mord, når bare man tilhører de rette kredse, har magt, penge og forbindelser. Historien handler om Camille fra en rig Louisiana familie, der lokker den forældreløse Aubrey til at hjælpe sig med et alibi, mens hun skaffer oplysninger om hendes mand, som hun ønsker at blive skilt fra. Uheldigvis ender Camilles mand Ben med at blive myrdet, mens skalkeskjulet står på, og hvem var så hvor, når der skal bruges et ægte alibi.

I had high expectations for this one, and while I was thoroughly entertained throughout, it did fall a bit flat at the end.

The book has it all, yet it all falls a bit flat in the end; it just doesn’t feel quite right.
The characters, there are many, seem a bit flat and perhaps even clichéd, and yet there is a lot that really works in this book.

*Anatomy of an Alibi* is about the art of getting away with murder when you belong to the right circles and possess power, money, and connections. The story centers on Camille, a woman from a wealthy Louisiana family, who lures an orphan named Aubrey into helping her establish an alibi while she gathers information on the husband she wants to divorce. Unfortunately, Camille’s husband, Ben, ends up being murdered while this ruse is playing out, raising the question of who was where when a genuine alibi is suddenly required.
