All right, it’s about time we got back to the topic of the trip.
Just the preparation itself was a challenge of sorts. It was my first time on such a long trip (about 3,000 km), my first time so far from home, my first time driving a new car - and with a trailer, no less. The packing process itself was completely different from what I was used to.
The
@maturi_trailers trailer offers HUGE possibilities for organization and cargo space. My gear, which was more suited to mountain treks and the small trunk of a Jeep, had to make way for things like full-size pots and dishes. I usually get annoyed with my wife for packing too many clothes and shoes. This time, I gave her free rein, and you know what? There was still plenty of room left. Of course, everything has its pros and cons, because it’s very easy to go overboard and pack a ton of unnecessary weight.
Looking back, I think we packed optimally. In addition to the gear neatly and smartly arranged in the trailer, we still had the pickup truck bed to fill, and that’s where the
@bravecruiser and
@gregorypackseu boxes from
@cragtools worked out great.
I promise that the next posts will feature some beautiful views from Bosnia and Herzegovina, stay tunned!
