This has been happening since before I started teaching almost 10 years ago now and has gotten progressively worse with little to no recovery after COVID. I had no idea what I was getting into, and every day I cringe at how little normies know about the corruption and enshittification of the education system since the mid 2010s. I’m planning to look for a new school or even potentially leaving the profession this year, but I’m not very good at people pleasing in interviews, so not sure if I’ll be able to get a better-paying job. #publicschool #education #creditrecovery #highschool #teachers
Did not want to caption this one. TW: Loss & Grief Wrote this as a tribute to a beautiful couple whose love will continue to exist even when one of them is no longer with us. I talk to my friend occasionally, and our conversations usually revolve around life, our achievements, moving ahead, the bittersweet phases. We talk about everything, and whenever he comes up in our conversations, all she has to say is, “I'm doing good.” #inknwishes #lovebeyondlife
