Today we laid my Meemaw to rest. She was my last grandparent, and it still feels strange to say that out loud. One of the hardest parts of getting older is saying goodbye to the people who can say, “I remember the day you were born.”

People tell me I’m her spitting image, and I’ve never been prouder to hear it. Watching this video, I get to see her looking at me for the very first time. Now, when I look in the mirror, I get to see a little of her looking back.

I love you, Meemaw 🤍 🕊️

Creatine and… Depression?

Actually, yeah

Over the past decade research on creatine’s effect on the brain has exploded

Starting with impressive improvements in several measures of cognition like working memory, attention, and boosting energy after sleep deprivation

But more recently there have been several cool studies looking at how creatine taken in conjunction with standard treatments for depression (SSRI’s, therapy, etc.) could lead to faster and better results in treating depressive symptoms

From the study in the video where creatine’s paired with an SSRI prescription medication, to a more recent study done last year where creatine showed significantly better results when paired with cognitive behavioral therapy (both studies linked below)

Now, this isn’t just saying that taking creatine will make you happy…

It’s still only just several studies, and mental health is an insanely complex and dynamic issue, but it is cool to see this branch of research getting more attention for more funding in the future

Not All Vitamin Cs Are Created Equal

Not all vitamin C’s are created equal.

When you’re dealing with chronic illness, acid reflux, Crohn’s, colitis, or an ulcer, and somebody hands you a vitamin C supplement that’s really acidic, and not buffered, it could be hard on your digestive system and you could have a bad reaction to it.

People are told to take vitamin C, usually ascorbic acid, which is very acidic, without always considering how sensitive their digestive systems might be. That’s why I’ve been talking about the importance of choosing the right form of vitamin C for years: buffered vitamin C

Vimergy Micro-C is the best Vitamin C on the market, hands down, in my opinion. It’s the right buffered form of vitamin C, and that’s one of the reasons I recommend it. Micro-C is also made without any natural and artificial flavors, citric acid, maltodextrin, magnesium stearate, caking agents, or poor-quality fillers. It also has the added benefits of rose hips and other antioxidants.

I’m honored to endorse Vimergy because I care about the quality of what people are putting into their bodies and Vimergy don’t compromise on their standards.

Comment MICRO C below and I’ll send you more information on the immune-support tools and protocols that are so profoundly powerful.
