If I can’t get my hand on paint after a while, I become grouchy.

Lately there hasn’t been much time for artwork.
Sometimes life has other and more important plans besides painting - like your husband’s health. He’s fine or should I say very much better, so whew!

Funny, in the past it was usually in times of struggle or worry or sadness or even elation (pick your emotion - I’ve been there) that brought me to draw or paint, but this time, worrying about my husband’s eye health actually paralyzed me.

It would’ve taken a lot of expensive therapy to figure out how Richie - not able to see - caused me not to be able to really see my own paintings or care! Not like me at all.
So instead of therapy, I retreat to the thing that is always there for me - my sketchbook and some paint.

In other words - I needed my fix.
