She says the Golden State Valkyries saved her life. Now she’s paying it forward.

After losing her leg and battling depression, 68-year-old Cynthia Cheak’s determination to make it down the stairs of Chase Center gave her a new reason to live.

Today, the viral Valkyries superfan hands out thousands of purple wristbands, spreading hope one stranger at a time.

Her next dream? Bringing BORP wheelchair basketball players to perform at a Valkyries halftime show!

Let’s help make Cynthia’s dream come true! (@natalienakase I’m looking 👀 at you!)
