Fenomena alam Pulau Timbul kembali muncul di Perairan Desa Yamru, Kecamatan Tayando-Tam, Kota Tual, Maluku. Daratan yang diperkirakan memiliki panjang 60 meter dan lebar 30 meter itu muncul pada Senin (2/11) sekitar pukul 02.00 WIT.⁠ ⁠ Fenomena ini bukan kejadian baru bagi masyarakat setempat. Berdasarkan informasi warga, pulau timbul pertama kali muncul pada 1982. Namun, beberapa tahun kemudian daratan tersebut kembali tenggelam.⁠ ⁠ Pada 1992, pulau itu kembali muncul secara bertahap hingga membentuk gumpalan batu besar yang bertahan sampai sekarang. Peristiwa serupa kembali terjadi pada 2023. Kala itu, daratan sempat muncul, tetapi hanya bertahan beberapa hari sebelum akhirnya tenggelam kembali.⁠ ⁠ Salah satu perangkat Desa Yamru, Lukman Kabakoran, membenarkan kemunculan pulau tersebut saat dikonfirmasi, Senin (2/11).⁠ ⁠ Ia meminta Pemerintah Kota Tual bersama tim geologi segera turun ke lokasi untuk melakukan pemeriksaan dan mengambil sampel material. Langkah tersebut diperlukan guna memastikan penyebab munculnya daratan baru di kawasan perairan tersebut, termasuk kemungkinan terbentuknya gunung berapi.⁠ ⁠ Sementara itu, pihak BMKG yang dikonfirmasi Kumparan pada Senin (2/11) belum dapat memastikan penyebab munculnya pulau timbul tersebut.⁠ ⁠ PMG Pertama pada Stasiun Geofisika Kelas I Karang Panjang Ambon, Albertho Ruhulessin, mengatakan pihaknya belum bisa menjelaskan proses terbentuknya daratan tersebut. BMKG juga belum dapat memastikan waktu kemunculan pulau itu berdasarkan data pemantauan yang dimiliki.⁠ ⁠ Ia menjelaskan, berdasarkan hasil monitoring kegempaan, tidak ditemukan aktivitas gempa signifikan di sekitar lokasi yang dimaksud, yakni wilayah perairan Tual.⁠ ⁠ 📸: Dok. Anyway, they don't have eyes… I mean, that's not technically true but they can’t see images, they are more for detecting light. The certainly don’t use them to hunt, they would starve, no instead they use that flat part of their head like a nose/tongue combo, tasting and smelling their surroundings by sweeping their heads back and forth until they pickup on something, like the slime trail left behind by this slug All that's left to do is follow the trail until it reaches the slug who left it and attach itself so it can’t get away. The mouth of the worm is located on its midsection, not on its head - It sits in the middle of the worm's belly.
