If wrapping 25 Christmas books sounds like a lot of work, I have a little hack you’re going to LOVE! 🎄📚

One of my favorite ways to make Christmas feel extra special is to wrap 25 Christmas picture books and let my kids open one each day leading up to Christmas. We get to enjoy a read aloud together, have intentional conversations, and make sweet memories without needing an elaborate activity planned every day.

But wrapping 25 books individually? No thank you! 😂

Enter: poly mailers! Just slip each book inside, seal it up, and you’re done! No cutting wrapping paper, no tape, and SO much time saved.

I also add one of our Christ Centered Christmas cards to the front of each book to keep our countdown in order and add a little devotional time to our daily reading. It’s such a simple way to keep our focus on Jesus while enjoying all the wonderful Christmas stories together!

I’m all about finding simple ways to make our homeschool Christmas cozy, intentional, and FUN without adding hours of prep to an already busy season.

Save this little hack for your Christmas prep, and send it to a friend who loves Christmas books as much as we do! ❤️

Delighted to inaugurate the Exhibition & Sale of Crafts and Textiles, hosted by the Crafts Council of Andhra Pradesh at Sri Sesha Sai Kalyana Vedika in Vijayawada today!

This exhibition brings together the exceptional talent of master artisans and weavers, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and timeless craftsmanship of Andhra Pradesh and beyond. From exquisite handlooms to intricate handicrafts, every piece tells a story of tradition, dedication, and artistic brilliance.

Supporting our local artisans is key to preserving these traditional art forms for future generations. I encourage everyone to visit, appreciate, and support our native craftspeople!

PMKN SZN 2026 -> OVER
Good long month. I’m tired but still working. Wish I was planning and preparing for another season (the fields need cover crops!) but … alas.
Seeing the folks that come every year is awesome. Ronnie (previous post) is a very welcome face every morning in October.
I could and would keep doing pumpkin season and more, but speculative property owners will speculate, and the messiness of doing business and farming is not always the most profitable (in fact rarely). Even if it can pay the bills, some folks will always want more.
But it is rewarding nonetheless. I personally value the community, land, water, and family that this place has allowed to flourish despite currents in the opposite direction. There’s a quality of personality required to do this that not everyone has, which is fine, but it’s closer to selflessness than capital ambitions — “planting trees that you’ll never see the shade of”.

What is the future if not good soil and community

I’ll still prune, mulch, and care for my trees while I can. Hopefully I can see them for another spring.

Thanks to all that came out this year!

Mile 15 and going strong! 11.2 more to go! @maybelline @nycmarathon
