Hey everyone. I no longer reside in the virtual realities of social media anymore, but I've come on here just to share that a couple weeks ago, I received my final court sentencing for non-violent direct action I took with Just Stop Oil. Myself and two friends were sentenced for the M25 gantry action, the one where I infamously cried and said "I'm here because I don't have a future". We pled guilty and the Judge gave us 80-100 hours of unpaid work plus an £800 fine each. Relative to other people who were sentenced for the same action, we got off lightly. However, it was quite a surreal experience to be in the same courthouse as both Russell Brand and Tommy Robinson...When I was growing up, I wouldn't have expected to meet the same fate as a rxpist and a rxcist, but there you go...Myself and my fellow gantry climbers would be really grateful for any donations towards our collective crowdfunder, for a total of £2400. Even if you can 'only' spare a fiver ♥️ I took this action with nothing but moral conviction in my heart, love for this planet and all living beings on it, and I don't regret it for a second. I'm proud of everything Just Stop Oil achieved, namely winning our demand of no new oil and gas licences in the UK, which Labour announced they'd commit to when they came to power. Of course the future, our future, is still not guaranteed - it never is or can be...But I am proud of my contribution to the fight, and grateful for everyone who was part of my journey.
