Somewhere between becoming a wife, raising children, and taking care of everyone else, it’s easy to forget that we’re still growing, too.
I think sometimes, as women, we treat motherhood like the finish line of our becoming. As if once we become mothers, everything else about us has to take a back seat.
But sis, God isn’t finished with us yet! Motherhood is a beautiful part of who we are, but it doesn’t mean we’ve stopped growing, learning, or discovering who God has called us to be.
Philippians 1:6 reminds us that the work God started in us is still ongoing. So while we’re pouring into our children, let’s remember to make room for what God is doing in us, too.
We became mothers, but we’re still becoming. 🤎☕️
