Someone asked me the other day, “What’s the hardest thing about owning a dog?”
And honestly, my answer has nothing to do with the mess, the barking, the muddy paws or the little accidents in the house.
Mr Sausage is absolutely everything to me. ❤️
He’s my best friend, my little angel, my saviour, my sidekick and one of the biggest reasons I smile. The love I have for that little sausage is impossible to put into words. It’s not just love, it’s a feeling that goes right to the very depths of your soul. 🥹🐶
I genuinely believe dogs are angels sent into our lives. They love us without judgement, without conditions and without caring what kind of day we’ve had or what the world thinks of us.
So please, don’t get angry with your dog because he’s had a little wee, done a poo in the wrong place or barked a bit too much. They’re not here forever, and one day you’d give absolutely anything to have those little annoyances back again.
Because the hardest thing about owning a dog?
It’s knowing that one day you’ll have to say goodbye to the very soul who gave you so much love without ever asking for anything in return. 💔
Until then, love them fiercely. Be patient with them. Cuddle them a little longer. Let them on the bed. Give them that extra treat.
Because the love you get from a dog is something truly special, and I honestly believe it’s one of the purest forms of love you’ll ever experience.
