Lessons I’ve learnt about chronic illness from nature 🌿🌏

After being diagnosed with endometriosis last year, the journey has sometimes been lonely, confusing and scary. Nature has taught me things no appointment ever did.

That a body moving slower isn't a body giving up. That some days just getting out the house is enough, sometimes I shouldn’t even feel pressured to. That the hardest days don't last forever, even when I'm in the middle of one and can't see past it.

I didn't learn any of this all at once. I learnt it slowly, on good days and bad ones, sitting under trees when I couldn't go any further and standing by the water when my head was too loud ☁️🌲

If you're newly diagnosed or still waiting for answers, I hope you find a little space outside to breathe too.

You're not on this path alone 💛🎗️

Nature has such a beautiful way of reminding us to slow down and reconnect with ourselves. 💛
