Exhausted after a day of schlepping, dancing, bubbling, and more. Then a guy attacked me on my way to my car afterwards. He didn’t like that I was playing “Arrest the President.”
I’m physically fine. And feel pretty good that I stood up to the guy when he knocked me and and my wagon over. He didn’t expect that. And two men came to help me.
But that is what Trump and MAGA have unleashed on America. They’ve opened the Pandora’s box of bad behavior from bullies. That a man a foot taller than me, seemingly normal, if just an asshole, would come with a running start to knock me (in my NiCE gear) and my wagon (with the Statue of Liberty sticking out) over. What the actual fuck, people?!
This is what fascism looks like. The bullies think they can just intimidate anyone. And they especially love picking on people they think can’t fight back.
