Heaven gained another angel. I got a call from my uncle last night saying that my grandmother had passed. I was out with friends and it was completely unexpected. This woman, who saved my life when I was adopted from the orphanage as an infant, is the reason I am here. She nursed me for just under a year and made sure I was healthy.

My grandmother was a gracious, humble, and extremely smart woman. She lived a long and full life and while I am sad to see her go, i am glad that she didn’t suffer. She passed peacefully and that’s all we can hope for.

There are so many incredible memories I have of the two of us and thinking about them makes me smile.

Aaji, I will love you forever. May you rest in peace and I’ll see you on the other side❤️
