New Eve is the breakthrough debut album from voice and bass duo Sylvie + Ursula. Bass player and winner of the BBC Young Jazz Musician 2024 Ursula Harrison and rising London-based vocalist and composer Sylvie Noble first met while studying on the vibrant South-Wales jazz scene, bonding over a shared love of both jazz and folk music. Their debut duo album New Eve, releasing in spring 2026, represents the duo’s desire to push the boundaries of genre. Their unconventional lineup and stripped down, acoustic approach leaves nowhere to hide sonically, exposing the vulnerability of their compositions.

«The duo blew everybody away with the quality of their singing and playing, the intimacy & maturity of the performance, their almost telepathic rapport, and the sheer quality of their original songs...The release of the album will represent a major event in British jazz.» - Ian Mann, TheJazzMann
