Before their kids took the field, these parents gathered in prayer. 🙏🏈

One of my favorite moments covering Lipscomb Academy happened before kickoff: parents standing in a circle, taking time to put Jesus first.

As a Christian and the person behind Sports Grind, I want to shine a light on moments like this, too. The talent deserves coverage. So does the faith that carries these families.

Public, private, or Christian school—I love seeing people freely come together to honor Him. My prayer is that celebrating Jesus becomes something we welcome and encourage wherever the game takes us.

He’s the reason we have the breath, the ability, and the opportunity to play. Whatever the scoreboard says, may we use those gifts for His glory.

Playing for an audience of One. ✝️
