One of my favorite otome games! I love how Virche Evermore embraces dark themes and doesn't shy away from heartbreaking endings. 🩷 I enjoyed the overall story and how the characters are written. They are complex and flawed in their own realistic ways, yet remarkably relatable despite the grim, dystopian setting.

Yves especially melted my heart. 🥹 His dynamic with Ceres is simply everything. While Yves starts off appearing selfless, the ultimate "good guy" who spreads his kindness and love to everyone equally, the way he progresses fascinated me, showing how he became selfish for the first time with Ceres. ​Instead of passively accepting whatever tragedy comes their way, he reaches a breaking point where he chooses her over the rest of the world, refusing to let go even if it means damning everything else.

That shift from his all encompassing selflessness to a deep protective love makes him so compelling to me. ​Him and Ceres are so clearly in need of comfort and healing, and the mutual care they show one another makes them the most touching pair.. 😭💘
